Change picture

Hey Donna, can you change the picture on the home page. Janet isn't in the group photo that is on there now. I tried to find a way to do this but finally decided that you had to have a password to make changes to the home page. Here are four options that I have.

The local wildlife

You can't tell from the pics, but he/she is only
about 2 feet long. So far I've seen three baby gators. This one I've named Bubbles because of the marks on his back look like bubbles, compared to the other gator in the same pond whose 'spots' are more lined up.....

Ain't he cute???!!??

Hello Fools: The Book Club went on until 2:30 am for anyone smart enough to go home early. Makes for a long next day. It was a great time at Mulligans, Alex’s, Mulligan’s. Etc. We will read Karen’s suggestion: BrinSinger: The last in the trilogy from our Eragon reading. Andy and Karen sent messages about Walmart and Kroger for best prices. Bryan called back and confirmed that he would like for us to read Sordid Lives: Del Shore and he will cook for us at his home and we will watch the movie. I will check and see if it is available as a book. If not, the movie will be fine. He had another recommendation and I am checking in to that. I would think that Sordid Lives would be available easier on line. Try Abe Books for discount prices. Have a wonderful weekend.

My new neighborhood

Okay gang. Here's an example of a new topic. I just thought I'd tell you all about our new 'hood. We are a small neighborhood inside a larger development. Our section only consists of one deadend street. We were the first official people to occupy the street. Some lady bought the house across from us first, but she lives in Chicago and isn't moving in until she sells her business and house up there. A family of four (2 teenage girls - ugh!!) moved in down the end (cul-de-sac) and a single man moved in next door (he had a partner but they broke up). There are four other houses that are almost finished being built and all four have been sold. There's a family that bought the house on the other side of us that we've just recently met. A young couple with three small kids - 2 girls and a boy who doesn't even walk yet. That should be fun. Dave and I will have to start wearing bathing suits in the pool soon....

So - now, if you want to comment about this exciting story - click on POST A COMMENT that should be below this story. If you don't see POST A COMMENT, then click on the title of this story (MY NEW NEIGHBORHOOD) and that should expand and you should see POST A COMMENT.

We'll work on authoring next....
